My wonderful Minehead life with my family and a crazy dog called Luna

HEY, I’m Richie

I live in sunny Minehead with my fiancée, kids, and a rescue dog called Luna.

I’m a big softie whose main passion in life is spending quality time with my gorgeous little family.

After buying my first house at the age of 39, I quickly discovered I am absolutely useless at DIY, which led to my second discovery: Minehead has a really good community of amazing people, including some great local tradesmen!

Having grown up in London, I’ve come to love and cherish the beauty and peace that comes from living in Somerset and I’ve decided this is where I want to spend the rest of my life.

I’m described as laid-back and relaxed, with a hero complex and being really hyper. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and I’m very passionate (might be the Spanish side of me coming out there).

The journey started in 2017…

Spending time in Cyprus, my ambition was to join the various other expats who had made it to the island, and the majority of the ones I met worked in the wedding industry.

Although I stayed in the UK, I had a curiosity about the wedding industry that had a grip on me and just wouldn’t let me go.

I also had a young family, and I wanted to get as many memories of them growing up as I could, and quickly realised that asking them to pose for photos was not the way.

They were too interested in running around, which was always more fun than saying cheese to the camera. So I let them do their own thing- and that’s when the magic happened.

When I started doing weddings, the same method worked wonders.
